For a student who plans to complete one level of this course per year, I recommend waiting until 7th or 8th grade to begin unless your student is a gifted language arts student. The advanced concepts toward the end of the second level will be difficult for most younger students.
If you plan to take the program more slowly, completing a lesson or two a week and half of a level per year, most 6th graders would do fine in this program.
It is never too late to go through this program. High schoolers or even adults who would like to improve their grammar and sentence structure would certainly benefit from this course.
Since it is self-paced, this program would even work for students who attend school but need more grammar instruction.
